Brand shoots are meant to be fun and airy, giving you the confidence to stand out in your industry and attract your ideal client. Part of how I make sure this happens is by asking some key questions that will help me understand your brand, and YOU, better!

Think of your brand as a person with a personality. What are the 3 words you would use to describe your brand’s personality?

This helps me understand a little more of who you are and how you want others to view your brand. These keywords can be pulled out with how you show up, what you wear on shoot day, and the expressions we highlight. It even gives me insight on some of the poses to try! Our body and body language will make a difference in your photos. It also helps me with prop suggestions for example if you said FUN, ENERGETIC and APPROACHABLE then maybe I suggest we play with movement, laughter, warm colours and pulling in some personal touches to help your audience get to know you!

Who is your ideal/dream client?

Knowing your audience is not just important to your branding shoot, it’s important to your business! As we grow and scale our business our ideal client might shift and change and that’s ok. For your banding shoot I want you to think and dream bigger than you ever have before! If your dream client is someone who enjoys that luxury elite lifestyle, then showing up and attracting them through your branding images is important. Think, “what would they wear? What would my ideal client be drawn to?” Maybe we focus on confidence, boldness, being that risk taker? All things to consider and look at during our planning stages.

What are your BIG dreams for your business? Think 1 year from now or maybe 5 years from now. Dream big… There are no limits!

For me, understanding where you want to see your business go in the future also helps me with planning. It helps me visualize and suggest locations that truly align with your dreams and vision. I want to help you get there! I’ve learned over the years how important it is to dream and dream boldly, dream so big that it scares you. And also that it’s ok to ask for it all!

Brand shoots are so much more to me than pretty photos, it’s about making you feel comfortable to be yourself, it’s about pushing you a little bit outside of your comfort zone to help you grow, because let’s face it, we do not grow in our comfort zone. You have to step outside of it to see growth. If you have already booked a shoot, then you are on the right path to investing in yourself and the growth in your business.
